In Gua-Le-Ni; or, The Horrendous Parade, fantastic paper creatures cross the screen. By twisting, spinning and rearranging toy-cubes, the players must spell the correct "name" of the bizarre animals and catalogue them before they wobble away! Some of the combinatorial monsters of Gua-Le-Ni are carnivores, some herbivores; different food combinations may have the effects of rendering the beasts longer, shorter, more or less fast and valuable.

Awesome! Best game ever! Worth the 5 bucks!
This is a beautiful and tricky game involving rotating and rearranging cubes to match the displayed creatures before they cross the page. it has a very well executed antique quality to it and clever voice-acting, as well as some bonuses, inhibitors, game modes, and other such things to keep you busy. Its an excellent iPad worthy game fun for parents and kids. One note: If you play this game in iOS5, you should throw the book open. If you open it slowly, the page may become stuck at the top of the screen and trying to grab it will only grab the notification bar and the game must be quit from the task bar to get out of it. Aside from that, it works well on iPad 1.
This is a surprisingly fun and addictive game! Being able to increase the difficulty is a great feature and the narration is funny!
This is a zany and fun concept in a game that results in some comical and wacky game play. My only wish is that I could play without being timed. I know there is a way to slow down the animals, but I am just starting out and the animals move too fast for me to get the names right sometimes. And the concept of feeding them something to slow them down hasnt even been introduced yet. So, if there were a sandbox or untiimed portion of the game, I would like it so much better. But, four stars for the concept and effort. And the voice acting really is humorous!
Normally I would write the developer directly but there is no provision for Contact (no email addr) on their website, so Im hoping this will catch the devs attention. On iPad2 it works fine; its great. On iPad1, the "curled page" does not appear on the tutorial, meaning I cannot turn pages to advance. The game just hangs there and the screen is unresponsive. I cleared background apps and re-started the device but it does not fix the problem. I know Apple doesnt allow email addresses posted, so developer please correspond via your App Store page.
